We are currently looking for a Maintenance Buyer & Inventory Clerk for our Coaticook plant.
A pivotal role in a great team
The successful candidate will contribute to the company’s success by assuming the following responsibilities :
- Assess needs for spare parts, consumables, and maintenance services.
- Research, select, and negotiate with suppliers.
- Order required parts, materials, and services.
- Manage inventory to ensure availability while minimizing overstock.
- Monitor expenses and propose cost-optimization initiatives.
- Analyze consumption to anticipate purchases and adjust stock levels.
- Work closely with the maintenance team to plan shutdowns and interventions.
- Verify compliance and quality of delivered parts.
- Manage physical and computerized inventory (CMMS).
- Participate in new equipment projects and in identifying critical spare parts.
On a day-to-day basis, she will work closely with colleagues who share the same goals of of success :
- Josée, Director of Operational Excellence — experienced and efficient;
- Benoît, Maintenance Supervisor — thorough and dedicated;
- And other committed team members.

Qualifications To meet this challenge successfully, we’re looking for a person driven by the values of respect, teamwork, commitment and pride, with the following qualifications :
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency with the following tools: CMMS, ERP, and Excel.
- Basic knowledge of mechanics.
- Ability to use basic measuring tools such as a caliper.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical equipment assembly drawings.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities, and respond to unexpected situations.
- Strong communication skills in both French and English, written and spoken. The required level of English is necessary due to regular collaboration with external suppliers.
- Ability to establish and maintain constructive professional relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Training in electromechanics (an asset).
