About the role
Modern enterprise end point management is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of the modern workplace utilizing a variety of tools that deliver great customer experiences and outcomes. The Desktop Engineering role with WBM gives you the chance to be part of an experienced team that works closely together to support our enterprise clients.
The day-to-day role includes monitoring and management of endpoint device fleets utilizing such solutions as MECM, Intune, Azure, Windows 365 and other supporting tools.
You'll be responsible for:
- Resolving tier 3 support requests and incidents
- Packaging and delivering custom applications and application updates
- Creating and testing Intune and Group Policy Objects
- Creating, testing and maintaining Intune Compliance policies
- Proactively monitoring and remediating endpoint health and compliance across an enterprise fleet of devices
- Proactive management/maintenance of MECM and Intune Services
- Helping project teams deliver major infrastructure upgrades
- Managing the overall endpoint solution for the client
This is an area of tremendous growth for our organization, and because of this, we are currently looking for a Senior Desktop Engineer to join our team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Minimum 5 years of MECM/Intune admin experience
- Application packaging experience with MECM and Intune
- OSD build knowledge and experience
- APD build knowledge and experience
- Intune compliance management
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Power Apps an asset
- A desire for development and continued learning
- Analytical – Collects, comprehends, and applies knowledge gathered from experience.
- Problem Solving – Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
- Teamwork – Desire to help build, and be part of, a close-knit team.
- Organizational Support – Amazingly strong organizational skills and completes administrative tasks thoroughly and on time, while following organizational best practices
- Time Management – Prioritizes and plans work activities efficiently
- Punctuality – Takes pride in being at work and ready for work on time and arriving at customer sites on time
- Dependability – Follows instructions and procedures and responds to management direction positively
