Description:

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Coordinator (Contract) supports warehouse and distribution operations through a variety of administrative and coordination activities. This role is offered as an approximately 9‑month fixed‑term contract and collaborates closely with internal teams and third‑party logistics partners to support order delivery, inventory management, and related processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead document processing and inter-org transfers (BOL creation, 3rd party communication/coordination)
  • Organize and process customer product returns - Create Return Materials Authorizations (RMAs), process defective kegs (NCQ/NCCRS), and enter keg credits
  • Coordinate and communicate shipments/deliveries with 3rd party carriers
  • Receive and enter inbound and outbound loads in a Warehouse Management System (Apex) and Enterprise Resource Planning System (Oracle)
  • Generate invoices for direct delivery orders
  • Release orders from Oracle to Apex for shipment
  • Prioritize orders in Apex for warehouse order assemblers
  • Enter data for key metric performance reporting and consumable inventory counts
  • Clerical/Administrative support and file management
  • Inventory management: cycle counting, copack processing, inventory transaction analysis
  • Perform other related duties as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a related role, preferably in a warehouse/distribution environment
  • Post-secondary education in a related field considered an asset
  • Computer skills with ability to use Microsoft Office programs; experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (eg. Apex) and Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (eg. Oracle)
  • Problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of provincial liquor board or Government regulations considered an asset
  • Previous experience working within a Unionized environment considered an asset
  • Knowledge of local and out of town delivery areas considered an asset
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal; able to write and format correspondence
  • Time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment involving conflicting priorities with a high sense of urgency
  • Accuracy and organization skills to maintain filing systems and basic databases
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions:

  • Perform work in an office environment approximately 90% of the time; the remainder of time is spent in a warehouse environment
  • On-site role
  • Required to wear proper PPE to mitigate hazards associated with warehouse environment
