Job Purpose
Reporting to the Manager, Software Engineering, the student will be working on newer technology proof of concept deliverables. The role will include identifying use cases to design, develop, build, and implement solutions to address the use cases.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of new technology i.e. AI, Robotics Process Automation, etc. VR proofs of concept.
 - Apply systems development methodology and standards to ensure effective solution design, development, testing, and implementation are completed in partnership with the business and ITS.
 - Prepare solution design documents and vet design documents prepared by other Developers and Systems Analysts.
 - Translate business requirements and conceptual designs into well-designed and documented software component specifications.
 - Design, run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement and general debugging.
 - Participate in defining software development project plans, including scoping, estimating, scheduling, and implementing
 
Primary Qualifications
- 
Enrolled in a Computer Science program (University or College) where the program has provided exposure to development methodology, use case development and design.
 - 
Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
 - 
The ability to work in a team environment
 - 
The ability to work remotely and in a corporate office.
