What can you expect from this position?

Reporting to the Associate Director, Technology Delivery, the Technology Delivery Manager is responsible for leading the end‑to‑end technical delivery of digital solutions that enable seamless airport operations and exceptional passenger experiences. This role drives the design, build, integration, and operational readiness of digital products in alignment with enterprise standards. As a hands‑on technical leader, you will partner closely with product teams, business stakeholders, and third‑party vendors to deliver innovative digital capabilities that support Toronto Pearson’s transformation toward a product‑based operating model.

As the Technology Delivery Manager, you will:

  • Lead the technical delivery of digital products across assigned portfolios and customer journeys.
  • Partner with Product Managers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable technical solutions.
  • Oversee solution integration, deployment, and operational readiness, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Provide technical oversight to external vendors, ensuring solution quality and adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and acceptance criteria.
  • Monitor and govern quality assurance, release readiness, and testing for technical solutions.
  • Implement application observability practices and lead incident response as a Tier 2 escalation point.
  • Drive root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement, managing technical debt within product backlogs.
  • Maintain complete technical documentation and ensure compliance with cybersecurity, regulatory, and privacy requirements.
  • Foster a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and innovation across teams.

This is the role for you, if you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical delivery, solution architecture, engineering management, or similar roles within large operational environments.
  • 2+ of leadership experience managing technical teams or delivery functions.
  • Proven experience delivering complex, multi‑vendor digital solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise systems, integrations, APIs, microservices, and cloud‑native platforms.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, regulatory compliance, and resiliency design.
  • Experience working with Agile and hybrid delivery models, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Aviation or airport operations experience is considered an asset, but not required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Ability to obtain and retain Transportation Security Clearance at the designated level for the position.
