About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Extrusion Lamination Supervisor, at our AURORA location, to lead our production team and oversee daily operations within our lamination and extrusion department. This role is responsible for driving production efficiency, maintaining quality standards, ensuring safety compliance, and fostering a high-performing team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead production teams across:
• Adhesive Lamination
• Extrusion Lamination
• Oversee all shift activities, ensuring production, quality, and safety targets are achieved
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and vacation planning to ensure full operational coverage
• Approve and manage employee timecards using ADP or similar systems
• Monitor machine performance, including line speeds, tolerances, and job quality
• Analyze production data and implement improvements to optimize performance
• Collaborate with scheduling to maintain workflow and ensure material availability
• Lead employee training, development, and performance management initiatives
• Enforce company SOPs, GMP, and SQF standards to ensure quality and regulatory compliance
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture on the production floor
• Manage disciplinary actions, evaluations, and employee engagement
• Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with extrusion lamination, adhesive lamination, or web handling processes preferred
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, ADP (or similar), and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Demonstrated ability to analyze production data and drive operational improvements
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead change, engage employees, and foster a collaborative team culture

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to:
• Noise, chemicals (inks/solvents), and moving machinery
• Must be able to wear required PPE (safety glasses, gloves, ear protection, etc.)
• Frequent standing and walking on the production floor
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs intermittently
