Role Description The Vice President of Infrastructure Services is a full-time remote leadership role responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and optimization of the organization’s IT infrastructure. This role manages infrastructure operations, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable systems that support all business functions and strategic initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include directing infrastructure planning, monitoring performance, supervising vendors and external service providers, and coordinating major technology projects and upgrades. The Vice President collaborates with senior leadership to align infrastructure roadmaps with overall IT strategy, establishes policies and standards, and leads teams responsible for network security, data centers, cloud services, and IT service management. The position also requires continuous evaluation of emerging technologies, risk management, and ensuring regulatory and compliance requirements are met. Qualifications Strong infrastructure management experience, including data centers, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems. Proficiency in IT Strategy and long-term technology planning aligned with organizational goals. Demonstrated Project Management skills for leading complex, cross-functional technology initiatives. Deep knowledge of Network Security, cybersecurity best practices, and risk mitigation. Experience with IT Service Management frameworks and processes (e.g., ITIL) to ensure high service quality. Proven leadership experience managing diverse technical teams and external vendors. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, PMP, ITIL, cloud certifications) are preferred. Background in mission-driven or development-focused organizations is beneficial, particularly within agriculture or public-sector environments.
