HOURLY RATE- $25.81 FULL TIME HOURS WHAT WILL I BE DOING? The Patrol Supervisor is responsible for assisting and coordinating the day-to-day operations of Patrol Services under the guidance of the On Hill, Coordinator. Supervisors will also be responsible for ensuring the ongoing safety of our guests by monitoring trail conditions and managing them effectively. Supervisors will work alongside all Patrol Service members proactively maintaining a safe environment with a high level of care for our guests.
- The Patrol Supervisor will ensure that Patrol Service members act as Ambassadors to assist in wayfinding, answer questions and ensure that guests are in possession of the correct products to gain paid access to the hill etc.
- Oversee incident investigations and ensure proper documentation is completed
- Responsible for aiding in the training, performance measures, performance evaluations, and performance feedback for all reporting employees.
- Is vigilant in maintaining the communication stream and will work to cultivate team spirit and a cooperative work ethic.
- Assist in the development and adhere to standards set for excellence, and continually strives to improve guest experience, safety, and effectiveness.
- Responsible for implementing and coaching all departmental standards.
- Coordinate with Patrol Services to assist other Mountain operations departments with on hill activities.
- Meeting the operating expectations as they relate to guest experience, safety, and effectiveness.
- Is vigilant of and informs Management (or corrects) unusual or unsafe behavior within the department, or anywhere on resort.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- Hold current First Responder level First Aid or equivalent certifications with a minimum of HCP-CPR
- Must be 18 years of age and hold a valid G driver's license
- Previous leadership experience an asset
- Preference given to those holding First Aid / CPR instructor certifications
- Strong Intermediate skier/snowboarder and XC riding/hiking skills and be able to ski/ride/hike all shifts and areas of the resort
- Must have previous Patrol experience
- Knowledge and understanding of emergency response
- Knowledge and experience in a four-season resort setting an asset
- Required to complete a satisfactory criminal record check
