Job Description:
We are looking for a personable, reliable, and driven individual to help us manage our current pipeline and build new relationships in the Canadian education market.
As part of our growing sales team, the Community Growth Manager will play a key role in nurturing leads, managing district relationships, and identifying new opportunities across Canada.
This individual will work closely with our leadership, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure every partner—from a small rural district to a large urban board—feels supported, informed, and excited to work with us.
This individual will work closely with senior leadership to develop and meet revenue goals. The overall success, longevity, and total compensation for this role will depend on meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Responsibilities

Building up strong, genuine, personal relationships with the people we serve

Management of our active sales pipeline. Track leads, opportunities, and follow-ups through our CRM; ensure timely communication and consistent engagement.

Driving new business by researching and reaching out to potential districts, associations, and education partners to introduce our suite of EdTech solutions.

Supporting the full sales cycle, from initial contact and demos to proposal delivery and contract closure.

Collaborating cross-functionally with the rest of the Imagine Everything team on marketing campaigns, events, and outreach initiatives to help build awareness and generate qualified leads.

Contributing to the continuous improvement of our sales processes, messaging, and marketing materials based on real-world feedback.

Understanding of the sales cycle, working with school boards to establish budget, need, timing, and identifying those who are responsible for making a buying decision

Negotiate contracts and agreements in the mutual best interest of both school boards and our organization.

Helping to forecast revenue growth and progress towards growth targets
Personal Skills
- A proactive, organized, and entrepreneurial mindset that will allow you to thrive in a remote, fast-moving environment.
- Exceptional written and oral presentation skills with professional-level proficiency in the English language.
- A proficient presenter and speaker, comfortable leading focus groups, webinars, and panel-style discussions with key stakeholders
- Comfort working with CRM tools (Zoho) and the ability to generate reliable reporting.
- Analytical skills and the ability to create and review data to help meet tangible goals
- Ability to put people and plans into action to overcome any school board challenges.
- Strong negotiation and arbitration skills when collaborating on contracts and agreements
- Knowledge of the most common and most recent industry best practices
- A genuine interest in education, technology, and community-driven innovation.
- A strong willingness and commitment to learning and improvement
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development—preferably in SaaS, technology, or education would be preferred.
- If the above is not met, those with education or general proficiency in related categories may be considered.
