About the role
Tri-Mac Toyota is looking to hire a Rustproof Technician/Detailer to add to our highly motivated team. The individual will provide quality automotive cleaning services and complete rustproof applications to vehicles for our customers.
What would your duties be as a Rustproof Technician/Detailer at Tri-Mac Toyota?
The Rustproof Technician/Detailer will provide quality automotive cleaning services to our customers by cleaning vehicles according to company standards or client specifications. These standards and specifications may include performing detail inspections, thoroughly washing, buffing, and waxing exteriors, vacuuming, steaming, and deodorizing interiors. You will also be the person responsible to complete the RustCheck applications for the dealership.
The incumbent will possess strong customer service skills and be familiar with the tools and agents used to clean and maintain vehicles along with completing RustCheck applications.
Cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors in compliance with all company standards and client requests.
Using cleaning and protective agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles.
Performing inspections and keeping complete, accurate records of the vehicle’s condition.
Moving and parking vehicles, delivering vehicles to correct locations.
Verify receipt of and performs a damage inspection on new vehicles delivered to the dealership from the manufacturer.
Responding to client inquiries and fulfilling their requests.
What qualifications are we looking for?
- Experience in the automobile or retail industry considered an asset.
- Knowledge of vehicle features and operations.
- High school diploma.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Able to work with a team and individually.
- Great listening & oral communication skills.
- Computer skills
