Intern, Ticket Operations :

This internship provides a unique opportunity to work as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while: experience in a range of event management tasks. Interns will work alongside full-time staff on many aspects of the RBC Canadian Open & CPKC Women’s Open. The ideal candidate will possess strong written and oral communication skills, the ability to work independently on multiple projects, and a willingness to go above and beyond for tournament stakeholders. Interns will be asked to take ownership of key projects and will gain strong professional experience. This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in sports management, communications, event management, or related field.

Intern, Digitalization and Collections:

This 6-month contract position will be responsible for digitizing photographs within our collection and inputting the data into our collections management software. 

Intern Golf Services:

Golf Services is responsible for providing customer service to golf clubs and individual member golfers (emails and phone calls) as well as assisting in the implementation of member services initiatives. Responsible to review, maintain and make recommendations to improve user experience and member experience. 

Intern, Golf Services National Golf League:

This intern is responsible for providing customer service to golf clubs/leagues and individual member golfers (emails and phone calls) as well as assisting in the implementation of member services initiatives, with specific focus on the National Golf League (NGL). Responsible to review, maintain and make recommendations to improve user experience and member experience 

Intern, First Tee Canada:

Golf Canada is looking for a motivated and mission-oriented individual to support the national implementation of First Tee. Reporting directly to the Coordinator, First Tee – Canada, the successful applicant will provide national support to First Tee chapter staff, positively contributing to a more accessible and diverse junior golf participation base.

Intern, Design:

The Digital Design Intern should have a strong interest in modern digital design practices and a developing skill set across areas such as UI, visual design, and digital content creation. This person is a motivated and creative thinker who is eager to support the end-to-end development of digital assets across all functions of the business. They will contribute to high-impact projects with broad visibility, collaborating closely with designers, marketers, and cross-functional partners to bring concepts to life. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, receptive to feedback, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift quickly. They should be able to translate direction into polished digital solutions that reflect brand standards and help clearly communicate the intended message or user experience.

Intern, Inclusion programs:

Golf Canada is looking for a motivated and mission-oriented individual to support with Women’s participation programming events (She Plays Golf), Inclusive sport programming (All Abilities) and collaborate with First Tee and other Golf Canada ‘Grow the Game’ programs to support clinics, activations and programs with a focus on girls and underrepresented participants

Intern, Communications:

This intern will support in amateur championship coverage, support in communication initiatives for the RBC Canadian Open and CPKC Women’s open as well as other administrative support within website and social properties.

Intern, Tournament Operations Amateur Championships:

Golf Canada is looking for four (4) qualified applicants to serve as tournament operations assistants within the Amateur Championships department. These individuals will act as ambassadors for Golf Canada within the communities hosting our competitions and ultimately be responsible for promoting the Golf Canada brand, as well as the game of golf. 

Intern, Tournament Operations, Professional Championships (Workshop):

Beginning in mid-late April and finishing in early September, the successful applicants will work closely with Golf Canada’s Operations Coordinator and Operations Manager on-site at two professional golf championships in Canada: the 2026 RBC Canadian Open (Caledon, ON) and the 2026 CPKC Women’s Open (Edmonton, AB). These professional golf tournaments are organized by Golf Canada’s Professional Championships staff and are overseen by the PGA TOUR and LPGA Tour respectively. The position will consist of two separate entities:  

• To refurbish and restore all operations equipment held in Golf Canada’s warehouse for 2-3 weeks (April – early May in Burlington, ON), in advance of the first Championship.  

• To complete all operational tasks using equipment on-site at each tournament (Caledon, ON in May/June & Edmonton, AB in August).  

 

Intern, Development:

The Development Intern will provide direct support to the Foundation’s Operations Manager and at times to the Foundation’s CEO, Trustee Program Director of Development, and Events Director. The successful candidate’s focus will be on the coordination of non-profit fundraising administration, grant and scholarship distribution, and assistance in the development of the national junior golf program. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting department projects and fundraising initiatives that reduce barriers to golf for a variety of demographics such as youth and women. 

This position will comprise of strong administrative support for fundraising properties held within the RBC Canadian Open and private donor events. The ideal candidate must be organized and willing to assist in taking necessary steps to complete work, which at times can be physical in nature through the event set-up/tear-down process.  

Intern, Partnerships:

This position w ill require the successful candidate to support with administrative support with championship events, as well as departmental and organizational needs, support in ancillary program and event execution (Assist with the planning and execution of the Honorary Observer and Inside the Ropes programs, Champion’s Reception invitations and Monday After the Open Golf Experience at the respective Opens). Lastly, provide support with the professional championships (Supporting the broader Partnerships team on all things RBC Canadian Open and CPKC Women’s Open).
