- You have 5+ years of experience in the security domain and 2+ years as an engineering manager leading a software or security engineering team
- You have experience in cultivating and supporting others’ growth as an engineering manager
- You are passionate about security engineering
- You have experience leading delivery for complex technical initiatives combining data, software and security engineering
- You have excellent leadership and relationship-building skills
- You thrive when developing extraordinary people, and great teams, not just great products (but also great products!)

What the job involves
- The Security Studio is looking for a passionate Security Engineering Manager to help keep Spotify SAFE!
- In this role you will lead a team that ensures that teams at Spotify can easily understand the security posture of their products and how to improve it
- As part of this mission, your team develops and maintains our internal security platform to collect, analyze and prioritize security findings from a variety of tools and systems
- You will drive the strategy and execution for the team, working across security domains and partners from around the company
- You’ll support a team of dedicated security and software engineers to help them grow and excel in their roles
- Lead, empower, challenge, and coach your team
- Help craft, and then expertly deliver on our critical initiatives
- Prioritize quality, and maintain and improve the health of owned technology
- Collaborate closely with partners, collaborators and other leads across Spotify
- Work passionately to ensure your team is doing the right things, while not spreading too thinly
