What you will do
- This position is working with Adults (18+ years old)
- Ensures Quality Clinical Service for Clients, Caregivers and Agencies
- Accountable for initial intake of new clients with a focus on assessing behaviour, risks to the client and employees and determines appropriate program and staffing needs
- Collaborate with other professionals as needed (Speech Language, Pathologies, Occupational Therapist, Psychologists, Family Doctor etc.)
- In person supervision of clinical team across contracts (various locations)
- Maintain positive working relationship with caregivers and funding agency; respond to stakeholder inquiries in timely and professional manner
- Assist supervising BCBA in completion of treatment plans and reports (assessment results, treatment plan, discharge summary etc.)
- Maintains the confidentiality and security of client related and organizational information at all times
- Maintain highly organized, consistent, thorough, and systematic recordkeeping.
- Responsible for writing clear professional, objective and accurate documentation in client communication records
- Accepts and implements feedback immediately
- Accountable for ensuring that services are delivered in accordance with best practice and that clients are meeting and exceeding their goals
- Accountable for regular quality assurance audits
- Accountable for the review and sign off on incident reports for accuracy, follow up on critical escalations, investigates and develops action plans in a timely manner
- Service delivery execution of key metrics (intakes, visits, program outcomes, client engagement, clinician efficiency targets) meets or exceeds expectations
- Ensure compliance with contractual/partnership agreements and performance
- Ensure all funding documents are submitted accurately and by set deadlines
- Accountable for ensuring all new staff have completed orientation
- Accountable for the development of new business and executing new service offerings
- Create a high performance culture, leading by example, effectively hiring (drawing top talent), onboarding, performance managing, and mentoring/coaching available talent
- Provide regular formal and informal feedback that allows staff to learn and grow
- Accountable for probation and annual performance development plans and reviews
- Ensure that mandatory and annual training requirements are complete and gaps are addressed.
- Accountable for health and safety compliance as per Occupational Health and Safety Act
What you will need to be successful
Required Qualifications:

Completed Master's degree in Behaviour Analysis (programs that meet BCBA® certification requirements)

3-5 years supervisory or management experience
-
Current Standard CPR and First Aid Certificate
-
Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within the last 6 months
-
Ability to travel, MUST have own car and valid license
-
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
-
Meets supervision requirements from the BACB®
-
Must be willing to work with Supported Adults
-
Experience working with Severe Challenging behaviour, Dual Diagnosis, aging population, and sexual health, specific coursework, training or workshops an asset.
-
Strong knowledge of CYFSA, QAM and Relevant regulations.
-
Experience working with clients who have a dual-diagnosis and severe challenging behaviour (e.g., within residential settings, hospital settings, or school settings).
