Laundry Attendant – Delta Hotels by Marriott Kamloops Location: Kamloops, BC

Department: Housekeeping

Reports To: Working Housekeeper

Job Type: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.62 - $20.69

About the Role We are currently seeking a Laundry Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. In this role, you will help ensure that all hotel linens and laundry items are cleaned, sanitized, and prepared to the highest standards. Your work plays a vital behind-the-scenes role in delivering a clean, comfortable, and exceptional experience for every guest. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys staying active, and thrives in a fast-paced team environment.

What You’ll Do

Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and other laundry items

Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently

Treat stains and ensure proper cleaning and sanitization of all items

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the laundry room

Restock laundry supplies and monitor inventory levels

Inspect linens for quality and report damaged items

Support the housekeeping team to ensure smooth daily operations

What We’re Looking For

A strong work ethic and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment

Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently and accurately

Strong communication skills and positive attitude

Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is an asset but not required

Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Legally entitled to work in Canada

Working Conditions

Fast-paced, guest-focused kitchen environment

Standing for extended periods

Shift-based work including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods

Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive motion

Ability to lift and move items up to approximately 20 lbs

Ability to perform physically active work throughout the shift
