About the role

The educational technology industry struggles with a critical issue: creating learning content that engages students while adapting to their individual requirements. The market is saturated with generic, ineffective learning platforms, making differentiation increasingly difficult. Studies show that educational materials failing to resonate with students or accommodate their distinct learning preferences result in sharp declines in engagement, leaving a void in meaningful learning outcomes. This burden falls heavily on educators, who must deliver personalized, high-quality instruction within limited time and resource frameworks.

LearnWith.AI addresses this challenge directly by leveraging artificial intelligence to transform content development. Our mission extends beyond building AI tools—we engineer AI-powered systems that produce dynamic, learner-specific educational resources. Imagine an AI-enabled "Second Brain" for disciplines such as History or Science—a sophisticated knowledge base that generates compelling, adaptive materials at scale. This forward-thinking methodology distinguishes us in a saturated marketplace and expands the potential applications of AI in education, delivering learning experiences that are more accessible, impactful, and engaging.

This position differs from conventional AI engineering roles. You won't be confined to writing code or developing theoretical AI frameworks. Instead, you'll spearhead efforts to transform student learning by architecting and deploying AI-powered workflows that deliver genuinely personalized educational experiences. This opportunity is not suited for those seeking routine assignments or gradual enhancements—it's designed for ambitious innovators ready to apply advanced technology to create measurable real-world change.

Joining our team means architecting AI-enabled educational platforms with the capacity to reshape the learning environment. You'll harness LLMs as subject-matter experts to construct contextual knowledge repositories and intelligent tutoring systems, ensuring our AI produces content that is both relevant and transformative. If the prospect of applying AI to revolutionize education excites you, and you're prepared to own projects that challenge conventional limits, we welcome your application.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Architecting AI-Powered Workflows: Combining diverse AI technologies, crafting prompts, and iterating on workflows using input from domain experts and end users.
  • Constructing Knowledge Repositories and Second Brains: Leveraging LLMs as specialized domain authorities to create and sustain documentation that captures knowledge and distinctive organizational expertise.
  • Architecting and deploying data structures that deliver contextual foundations for business logic, maintaining efficient and scalable data architectures.

Full Stack Engineer Key Responsibilities

  • Drive LearnWith.AI's competitive differentiation by producing engaging, personalized educational materials using AI-powered tools

Basic Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a software engineer
  • Proven experience integrating LLMs into production software products (building chatbots or using basic coding assistants does not qualify)
  • Verifiable interest in EdTech

𝑵𝒐𝒕𝒆: Crossover jobs are are fully compliant with LinkedIn's policies, as well as the applicable laws in every country where we advertise.

Allow us to clarify some common misconceptions:
1) The reason we post so many job ads is because LinkedIn organizes all job postings by location. So, the only way to reach candidates all over the world is to post multiple ads in every city you want to hire from. Most recruiters don't bother because it's too time consuming... but we're not most recruiters.
2) We mostly recruit independent contractors, not employees, because labor laws vary so much from one country to another that it's near-impossible to recruit globally otherwise (which is why it's still uncommon even though most jobs can now be done remotely).
3) As is standard for any self-employed person, the stated pay is the entire compensation package. Because they are not employees, each contractor is responsible for handling the things that an employer would take care of e.g. taxes, equipment, vacation time, health insurance. One of the major reasons that Crossover jobs pay so much more than local jobs is to overcompensate for these costs.

It's hard, but it's worth it!
