As a key player in the financial services marketplace of Northern Ontario we are excited to announce that we are currently seeking Project Manager.
The Project Manager leads the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic initiatives across the credit union, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. Covering diverse areas such as operations, technology, digital banking, compliance, and member services, this role collaborates closely with stakeholders to align project outcomes with organizational priorities and strategic goals. The Project Manager also plays a key role in driving effective change management, confirming smooth adoption and long-term success of project implementations.
The Project Manager acts as the primary liaison between business units, vendors, and internal teams, they ensure alignment and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. The role provides regular reporting to senior leadership and establishes adherence to governance standards to support transparency, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Preferred candidates will possess the following qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects in a financial institution or credit union setting.
- Experience in delivering projects in areas such as digital transformation, technology upgrades, regulatory compliance, or member service enhancements.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within scope/budget.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Skilled in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, Asana).
- Ability to lead and influence without direct authority.
- Detail-oriented and results-driven with strong problem-solving skills.
