**Functional Consultant – Hexagon EAM (13 Month Contract)

Location: New Westminster, BC / Hybrid

Staffing Placement Opportunity** Project Description And Background The Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Program consists of multiple workstreams related to the implementation of an enterprise-wide EAM, Supply Chain Management, and Financial System.

The Successful Candidate Will Serve As The Hexagon EAM Functional Consultant For Enterprise Asset Management, Finance, And Supply Chain Management Within The EAM Program. The Hexagon EAM Functional Consultant Will Support a Range Of Project And Business Functions, Including

  • Analyzing existing business process documentation and recommending corrective actions through HxGN configuration, advanced configuration, data integration, and reporting in collaboration with project stakeholders.
  • Supporting the transition of HxGN project configurations, data integrations, data uploads, and reports to Sustainment teams.
  • Coordinating detailed communication and status updates regarding HxGN-related deliverables to Sustainment Teams.
  • Providing go-live and hypercare support during multiple deployments.
  • Staying current with HxGN EAM updates, new releases, and related products through ongoing training.
  • Sharing knowledge and best practices related to HxGN EAM with colleagues.

The successful candidate may be required to report on progress at governance forums hosted by the PMO.

The candidate may also be assigned to additional projects not listed in this Statement of Work, as required by operational needs.

SERVICES Responsibilities Reporting to the Senior Project Manager for Enterprise Asset Management and collaborating with Sustainment Teams, senior staff, the System Integrator, business and operations staff, functional and technical team members, the successful candidate will oversee all aspects of assigned deliverables. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Aligning work to established project management methodology, including templates, gates, phases, and stages.
  • Supporting various facets of the Project Management Lifecycle such as initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure—covering scope, schedule, cost, procurement, quality, risk management, resource management, and communication activities.
  • Ensuring future-state solution designs align with business goals by conceptualizing and validating solution components.
  • Reviewing and validating solution design alignment.
  • Supporting system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Supporting the development of EAM project approval documentation.
  • Supporting the development, review, and approval of acceptance criteria.
  • Demonstrating a high degree of emotional intelligence in all interactions.

DELIVERABLES The successful candidate will be expected to produce standard project management deliverables and documentation, including but not limited to:

  • Facilitating customer workshops and system design sessions; preparing professional documentation such as System & Process Design Documentation.
  • Conducting system testing, training, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Creating functional design and process documentation for transition to Sustainment Teams.
  • Reviewing detailed designs related to configuration, integrations, data uploads, and reporting; updating documentation as needed to support Sustainment Teams.
  • Supporting program and project governance processes.
  • Providing periodic reports on project outcomes, including functional and technical solution components, and offering clear recommendations.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Comprehensive knowledge of all Infor EAM modules/functions, including Asset & Maintenance Management, APM, Inventory Management, and Purchasing/Contracts.
  • Experience with EAM FLEX and extensibility development preferred.
  • Experience developing FlexSQL, Inbox items, and KPIs in Hexagon EAM.
  • Previous consulting experience with EAM, Maximo, or similar asset management applications.
  • Experience integrating Infor EAM with external systems such as facilities management tools, capital planning systems, ERPs, GIS, and fleet systems.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes, functional requirements, software installation, and user training.
  • Experience with HxGN data uploads and conversions.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and XML is advantageous.
  • Full proficiency with Hexagon EAM and Infor OS solutions.
  • Knowledge of Infor ION and Infor GFC for integration with other applications.
  • 10+ years of technology-related consulting experience in Asset Management solutions.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (advanced degrees an asset).
  • Experience gathering and analyzing functional and technical requirements from key business areas.
  • Experience with development or delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
