Veterinary Assistant

Casual Position
404 Veterinary Emergency + Referral Hospital is welcoming a Veterinary Assistant to join our Emergency team on a Casual basis. The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high-quality veterinary medicine and patient care, with the expertise and technical know-how to make them a reality.
In this position, you will be supporting our Doctors and Technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients.
- Assisting the Emergency team with patient triages and exams
- Assisting the Emergency team with diagnostics (radiography/CT)
- Assisting with Emergency surgeries - patient prep and prep of the surgical suite
- Some reception duties, including answering the phones and checking in/billing out emergency clients
- Providing compassionate care and comfort for hospitalized pets.
