Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roofer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in roofing installation, repair, and maintenance, with a strong understanding of various roofing materials and techniques. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential to commercial buildings, contributing to high-quality construction and restoration efforts. Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems using various materials such as shingles, metal, membrane, and tile
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate installation
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
• Prepare roofing surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary underlayments or insulation
• Perform concrete forming, masonry work, or carpentry tasks as needed for roofing projects
• Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure waterproofing integrity
• Assist with construction estimating and project planning when required
• Coordinate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining safety standards
• Conduct inspections of completed work for quality assurance and compliance with building codes

Qualifications

• Proven experience in roofing installation and repair
• Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and related construction machinery
• Familiarity with related trades such as carpentry, masonry, concrete finishing, plumbing, electrical work, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, restoration, or cabinet installation is a plus
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
• Strong understanding of safety protocols in construction environments
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy materials and working at heights safely
• Valid Working at Heights Certificate or relevant certification/license preferred
