We’re looking for a Regional Manager to lead our Zurich Resilience Solutions (ZRS) Property Team, shaping strategy and inspiring a team of risk specialists and leaders to deliver exceptional service.
What you will do:
- Lead and develop a high-performing risk engineering team, aligning resources and supporting staff, customers, and partners.
- Consult with risk engineering colleagues and business partners (claims, underwriting), ensuring quality services and insightful reporting.
- Analyze market trends, business performance, and risk data to recommend actions that drive profitability and growth.
- Strengthen relationships across the business, conduct in-depth analysis, and support key decisions for a sustainable future.
- Champion customer relations, productivity, and compliance, identifying risks and escalating issues as needed.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, performance management, succession planning, and recruitment for your team.
Your Impact – How You’ll Deliver Results
- Establish clear performance targets and financial objectives for your work unit.
- Assign resources to meet service delivery targets and support underwriters across your region.
- Ensure outstanding service quality for customers and business partners, while spotting opportunities for cross-selling and business growth.
- Develop, implement, and review risk engineering processes and policies to align with Zurich’s strategic objectives.
- Lead innovation, policy development, and change initiatives in risk engineering.
- Manage training curriculum and support teams to ensure consistently high service standards.
- Analyze complex data and conduct research to provide expert recommendations that improve business performance.
What you bring to the table:
Required
- Bachelors Degree and 10 or more years of experience in the Risk Engineering area
Preferred
- Proven experience in risk engineering, insurance, or related sectors, with a record of effective leadership and strategic management.
- Strong analytical, relationship management, and process improvement skills.
- Ability to coach, develop, and inspire teams, driving performance and professional growth.
- Commercial mindset with a passion for customer service and business development.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
