They specialise in all areas of ICI construction from Commercial/Institutional to Retail/Warehousing.

Senior Project Manager - Design Build - Ottawa
Role Responsibilities:
- Assist in Design Build Construction Contract Sales, Budgeting, and Project Development.
- Implement Construction Project Management services for contracts obtained by the organisation.
- Be an ambassador on behalf of the company establish and maintain good relationships with the owner(s), design consultants, subcontractors and the field personnel assigned to a given project
- Support the Site Superintendent in his roles and responsibilities as the site authority for the construction of each project.
- Be prepared to mentor and train support staff and coordinators to develop into competent project managers.
- Assist in managing the current workload and report directly to senior staff.
- The Senior Project Manager will function as the critical link between the corporate office and the job site(s).
- The ultimate goal of this position is to assume the role of 'second-in-command' of the organisation
Profile
Senior Project Manager - Design Build - Ottawa
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive construction experience with leadership and mentoring preferred
- Demonstrated experience implementing a strong safety culture by application of health, safety, and environment principles and legislation.
- In-depth knowledge of construction industry including building materials, construction specifications, methods and procedures, construction law and building codes, and safety and quality management practices.
- Working knowledge of the scopes of work covered by contracts.
- Knowledge of construction, engineering, procurement, industry standards, and other project-related activities, their interfaces, and interdependencies.
- Skill in management and administrative experience.
- Skill in written and oral communication.
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills including the ability to manage project budgets and schedules.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, project management and scheduling software, with a strong aptitude for adopting new technology.
- Assist in finding, assessing, and implanting or adopting new technology.
Job Offer
A basic salary off of up to $150,000 (depending upon experience)
