About the role
Objective: Superior Cabinets is currently seeking a Warehouse Logistics Coordinator (Temp.) to join our team in Edmonton. The role offers a unique opportunity to work closely in our warehouse with our Operations and Stores team to support the stores in achieving on-time, quality shipments. This position has the potential of becoming permanent depending on performance and business needs.
Reports to: Assistant General Manager, Store
Direct Reports: None
Location: Edmonton
Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm
Main Responsibilities:

Load and unload product in a safe and organized manner to prevent damage and to aid installers and clients in effectively maintaining a clean and efficient environment.

Palletize products based on procedure.
-
Organize products by scanning into locations based on procedure.
-
Pull and stage products based on procedure and schedule.
-
Ship complete jobs including backorders, pre-ordered countertops, handles, etc. by following the schedule and delivery mandate on time.

Deliver parts to job sites as required.

Report all errors, damages, and discrepancies immediately to the Assistant General Manager and Warehouse Lead.

Ensure all products are packaged to company standards.
-
Ensure company vehicles are in good working order and kept clean and organized on a daily basis.

Assist in monthly inventory counts.

Order supplies and materials.
-
Adhere to all safety requirements.

Ensure the warehouse is clean and organized.
-
Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with internal and external customers.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening)
- Strong organization and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Friendly, personable,and professional mannerisms
- Physical fitness with the capacity to lift 50lbs
- Warehouse Shipping/Receiving experience and asset.
Education and/or Training:
- MinimumGrade 12 or equivalent
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Knowledge of city and surrounding area
- CSTS 2020
- Fork Lift Certification
- Intermediate First Aid
