QUALIFICATIONS: · 5+ years plaintiff personal injury experience · Practical knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure · Primafact experience preferred, but not required · Superior drafting skills · Excellent written and oral communication skills · Ability to organize, prioritize and multitask with minimal supervision · Ability to work well independently and in a team environment · Strong computer skills (including MS Office suite) · Positive work attitude RESPONSIBILITIES: · Answer correspondence · Handle client inquiries in a professional manner · Organize and maintain client files to ensure deadlines are met and files are processed in a timely manner · Preparation of pleadings and other legal documents (Statement of Claims, Notice of Motions, Affidavit of Documents, etc.) · Preparing and updating undertakings charts · Obtaining productions from opposing counsel and third parties · Reviewing & summarizing medical documentation and other file documents; · Mediation, Pre-Trial and Trial preparation including issuing and serving Summons to Witness and preparation of Trial Briefs (not a requirement but beneficial) · Other duties as assigned
