Project Manager SAP Infrastructure & Technology

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Project Manager to lead SAP infrastructure and technology initiatives within the COSMOS Program. The ideal candidate will bring deep SAP expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to manage complex, multi-vendor environments.

  • This role focuses on the technical stream of the COSMOS program, including infrastructure, landscape (DR, N+1, upgrades), interface/integration, and user interface (Fiori/GUI).
  • Lead and coordinate SAP infrastructure and technology projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Oversee SAP sizing, landscape design, installations, and RICEFW delivery.
  • Collaborate with architects, analysts, finance, procurement, and operational teams.
  • Establish and maintain project governance, KPIs, and reporting.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and financials; contribute to business case analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with PMO methodology and documentation standards.
  • Coordinate with internal and external PMs and manage vendor scope and performance.
  • Oversee third-party implementation of SAP Security, including Segregation of Duties (SOD) and Global Risk and Compliance (GRC).

Requirements and qualifications:

  • Project management (PMP) Nice to have.
  • Experience with Tools like Microsoft project online, Activate and JIRA or ADO is nice to have.

SAP Expertise:

  • Minimum 5 years of SAP experience.
  • At least 2 SAP implementations, including S/4HANA.
  • SAP RISE or cloud deployment experience is a strong asset.
  • SAP Security knowledge is an asset.

Project Management:

  • 5-7+ years managing large-scale IT projects ($510M+).
  • Experience in complex, multi-vendor environments.
  • Proficiency with Activate methodology.
  • Manage vendor scope of work.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to manage global (onshore and offshore), distributed teams and matrixed resources.
  • Structured, detail-oriented, and documentation-savvy.
