Charger Logistics is a world class asset-based carrier. We specialize in delivering your assets, on time and on budget. With the diverse fleet of equipment, we can handle a range of freight, including dedicated loads, specialized hauls, temperature-controlled goods and HAZMAT cargo.
Charger logistics invests time and support into its employees to provide them with the room to learn and grow their expertise and work their way up. We are entrepreneurial-minded organization that welcomes and support individual idea and strategies. We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our team based out of our Brampton office.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to inquiries related to invoices, payments, statements, and account balances via phone, email, or ticketing systems.
- Work collaboratively with the accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger (GL) teams to resolve customer or vendor concerns.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in billing, payments, and account data.
- Communicate and clarify company financial policies and procedures to internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with processing payment requests, refunds, and credit memos when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of customer communications and issue resolutions.
- Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate accounting personnel or management.
- Support the monthly and year-end closing processes by providing necessary documentation or customer-related data.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations during all customer service processes.
- Contribute to continuous process improvements within the finance and customer service workflows.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
- 1–3 years of customer service or accounting support experience, preferably in a finance or accounting environment.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
