About the role

Overview Region Performance & Capability Director and Chief of Staff - Supply Chain The Role (Brief summary of the role): As Region Performance & Capability Director and Chief of Staff - Supply Chain, you will support the advancement of our National Supply Chain agenda. This role will act as a trusted partner to the senior leadership team, with oversight of Staffing & Raw materials, Plant Warehouse Operations, and Service Operations excellence. The Chief of Staff will provide strategic alignment, drive execution across multiple priorities, and build capabilities that ensure operational efficiency, resilience, and scalability.

This is a high-visibility role, requiring a balance of strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on execution to deliver measurable performance improvements across the supply chain network.

Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership & Alignment

  • Serve as the right hand to the VP of Supply Chain and Sr. Director Supply Chain Enablement, ensuring enterprise priorities are translated into actionable strategies across the supply chain.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to strengthen national performance and build capability across supply chain centres of excellence.

Performance & Capability Development

  • Oversee the Staffing & Raw Material Centre of Excellence, ensuring sustainable workforce planning and reliable material supply strategies.
  • Drive best practices in the Plant Warehouse Centre of Excellence, optimizing space utilization, inventory accuracy, and throughput efficiency.
  • Lead the Service Operations Centre of Excellence, advancing delivery reliability, cost efficiency, and service-level performance.

Operational Excellence & Program Management

  • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure success across national performance and capability initiatives.
  • Design and implement frameworks that improve visibility, accountability, and decision-making across the supply chain.
  • Anticipate risks, manage escalations, and ensure timely resolution of critical supply chain issues.

Executive Partnership & Communication

  • Act as a key liaison between supply chain leadership and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on strategy and execution.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, updates, and reports to communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Represent supply chain leadership in national and cross-enterprise forums.

Change Leadership & Capability Building

  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workforce effectiveness and operational capability.
  • Lead capability development programs, ensuring teams are equipped with the tools, processes, and skills to deliver excellence.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and performance.

Qualifications Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or related field required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.

Experience:

  • 10+ years in supply chain leadership roles, with a proven record of managing multiple high-impact priorities.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide capability building.
  • Strong experience in warehouse operations, distribution, and materials management.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Exceptional executive presence with strong communication and influence skills.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to translate vision into actionable execution.
  • Strong program and change management capabilities.
  • High resilience, adaptability, and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Deep knowledge of supply chain best practices, technology, and performance frameworks.
