Diamond Machine Operator (Summer Student)
Responsibilities: The student will prepare, inspect and machine parts on electro-erosion machines.
Tasks:
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Manufacture and sharpen diamond tools.
- Operate and program EDM machines.
- Perform quality control checks using various metrology instruments.
- Perform preventative maintenance on EDM machines.
Diploma:
- DEC in Mechanical Engineering or similar, currently enrolled (1st year)
Required Skills:
- Conscientious.
- Attentive to quality and detail.
- Good blueprint reading skills.
Other: The student will work full-time during the summer with an adapted schedule upon resumption of studies.
