SPORTS MEDICINE DOCTOR TO PRACTICE IN A MULTIDISCIPLINARY ORTHOPEDIC CLINIC Mississauga Physiotherapy & Orthopedic Centre is a forward-thinking medical centre on the cutting edge of providing new ways to help our patients live their life to its fullest in a functional and pain free way. Located in the heart of Mississauga and only a short distance from a number of hospitals in Mississauga, we are currently home to a number of well established and up and coming Orthopedic surgeons as well as other professionals.
We have been in operation for over seven years and are continually expanding our diverse team to meet the ongoing demand of our patients. We are looking for a Sports Medicine Doctor to work with our Orthopedic Surgeons, Rheumatologist, Orthotist, Physio, Athletic and Massage Therapists.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD).
- SEM fellowship trained and Diploma preferred.
- License to practice in & In good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
Responsibilities
- Conduct consultations and provide non-surgical treatment options for MSK injuries, including bracing & service referrals, medical injections and coordinate efforts with other physicians.
- Collaborate with allied health care specialists to develop personalized treatment plans using the best evidence of innovative medical care practices.
- Oversee and administer musculoskeletal ultrasound-guided international therapies injections (including hyaluronic acid preparations).
