Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Assembler

Job Type: On-site
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and diagrams of electromechanical assemblies and printed circuit boards.
- Know electronic components to identify values and polarity during assembly.
- Understand the application methods of conformal coatings, curing and air-drying times and temperatures, and the humidity level of the room.
- Properly use manual and pneumatic tools.
- Adjust wave soldering machine speeds and operate automatic and semi-automatic machines.
- Perform repairs and modifications on circuit boards.
- Have good dexterity for assembling and soldering electronic components and good vision to carry out delicate tasks.
- Be familiar with precision standards (IPC 610D).
- Know occupational health and safety rules, especially WHMIS.
Basic Qualifications
- A minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of experience in printed circuit board assembly is essential, and experience in surface mount assembly is an asset.
- Soldering according to IPC standards SMT and Wave machine operator
- Qaulity Oriented
- Acquired Knowledge of IPC Standards
