Purpose of the Role:

The In Force Associate plays a critical role in supporting the ongoing administration and servicing of insurance policies. With a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service, this role ensures accurate and timely processing of policy changes, documentation management, and communication with internal teams and external partners. Operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, the In Force Associate contributes to operational excellence and cross-functional collaboration within the Advisory Services team.

This role is in office 5 days per week.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Process in force policy changes and regular and ongoing maintenance.
  • Facilitate Advisory Team revenue and commission changes.
  • Generate fiscal year end summaries for corporate insurance policies.
  • Handle notices received from insurance carriers and communicate relevant details to the Advisory Team.
  • Manage policy documents (e.g. scan mail and save to client file, prepare and mail policy contracts).
  • Participate in cross-functional team meetings and collaborate on projects with members of the Advisory Services team to improve processes across teams.
  • Deliver a high level of personalized, end-to-end, client service to internal and external clients.
  • Answer queries in a timely and solutions-based manner.
  • Coordinate operational tasks aligning to MGA responsibilities.
  • Other relevant and related responsibilities, as assigned and as the needs of the organization change.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1+ years' experience in a client facing role in the financial services industry.
  • Completion of, or in the process of obtaining, Life License Qualification Program (LLQP).
  • You are proficient with systems including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
  • You are legally eligible to work in Canada for any employer.

Compensation & Benefits Package:

This position comes with a base salary range of $50,000 - $65,000 plus a competitive performance bonus, RRSP contribution and participation in our profit-sharing program. Base salary will be commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications.
