Overnight Shift
Calgary North Hospitalis welcoming a full-timeRegistered Veterinary Technologist, RVTto join our team. While our network is large, we still offer that local community feeling, mentorship, and additional training!
- Completion of a Veterinary Technologist/Animal Health Technologist program (RVT eligible or registered)
- Ability and willingness to work overnight shifts on a full-time basis
- Strong triage and emergency assessment skills, including prioritization of urgent and critical cases
- Experience or confidence in patient assessment, anesthesia monitoring, catheter placement, and emergency procedures
- ability to work independently overnight, while maintaining strong communication with DVMs and team members
- Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills, with appropriate escalation when needed
- Commitment to accurate and timely medical record documentation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both team members and pet owners during high-stress situations
- Passion for providing compassionate, high-quality patient care
- A love for all companion animals!!
