Job Profile Summary To manage the Expanse Special Projects team within the HCA UK division

This role is critical in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of Expanse in the division, supporting activities for maintenance and functionality both for the HCA Organisation and the patients we serve, ensuring the effective design, requirements gathering, build, testing of developments and reporting, ensuring the EHR platform delivers value to the organization in short and long term. This will include supporting the safe maintenance of the existing product, planning and implementation for ongoing development and updates, working with business colleagues to assess effectiveness and propose, design, develop, test and implement improvements.

The role holder will lead, facilitate and be responsible for change management activities required to support the maintenance and ongoing development of Expanse. This is a non-clinical role but will be responsible for supporting clinical and non-clinical Expanse teams. The post-holder will work with key stakeholder groups, and facilitate contribution from staff across HCA UK to develop business and process change and support new improved ways of working to optimise the realisation of benefits.

The role will contribute to Expanse governance across all the Expanse teams, ensuring the robust capture of business requirements and delivery to the business needs, working alongside the project managers aligned to each of Expanse activities and supporting the management of the third-party vendors and contracts.

There is an expectation that the post holder will work on site a minimum of 3 days per week.

Skills And Experience

  • PMO and/or project management experience and qualification
  • Knowledge of Business Analyst best practice
  • Experience of governance best practice in an organisation
  • Experienced for transformational projects
  • Project/Programme management experience
  • Progressive leadership experience and understanding of the healthcare industry
  • Experience of acting as a key contributor to digital solutions
  • Exhibited elicitation skills to incite cooperation from a wide variety of resources, including upper management, clients, vendors, and other departments; the ability to defuse tension among project team, if needed
  • Ideally, implementation of an EHR but not essential.

About Lister Fertility Clinic

The Lister Fertility Clinic is one of the largest fertility centres in the UK. The clinic was established in 1988 and since that time has maintained its reputation as being one of the most successful IVF clinics in the country with nearly 20,000 'Lister' babies born.

The clinic prides itself on being able to assist couples whose treatment has been unsuccessful elsewhere and we operate a more flexible referral criteria in order to help couples with the more difficult fertility problems.
