The British Council is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Operations Support Coordinator to assist in the seamless delivery of exams across Canada. This role supports the expansion of Independent Test Centres and ensures compliance with IELTS and Awarding Body standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides administrative support to the Canada Exams Delivery team, ensuring compliance with British Council and IELTS standards.
- Assists with expansion plans, system rollouts, and troubleshooting for Independent Test Centers.
- Supports logistics, procurement, and exam administration across a dispersed team in Canada and regional offices.
- Handles enquiries and complaints, maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Manages incidents and ensures adherence to policies including Data Protection, Child Protection, and Anti-Fraud.
- Completes mandatory training and attends briefings as required.
- May occasionally travel and is expected to maintain a professional appearance.
Requirements:

Essential:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in operational planning, customer service, or training
- Ability to use technology platforms to support business improvement

Desirable:
- Knowledge of IELTS policies and systems
- Experience in compliance management and computer-based exams
Further Information:
- Must have the right to live and work in Canada
- Job type: full time
- Salary: 60 145,79 CAD annualy depending on successful candidate's experience and qualifications.
- Contract: six months fixed term contract
- Location: Toronto, Canada
- Closing Date: September 30, 2025
