Position Summary
The SE Health Rehab Health Clinic – a preferred rehabilitation partner of Mackenzie Health Hospital – is seeking a skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team in Richmond Hill, Ontario. This part-time role (2 days/week, including evenings, with potential for increased hours) offers the opportunity to provide evidence-based, patient-centered care in a collaborative, innovative environment.
You will deliver both in-clinic and virtual physiotherapy services, working with patients across the continuum of musculoskeletal care – from acute and chronic orthopedic injuries to post-operative rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments and develop goal-oriented treatment plans
- Deliver high-quality care through manual therapy, therapeutic modalities, and exercise prescription
- Collaborate with rehabilitation assistants and the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Manage patient health records and reports (e.g. WSIB, HCAI) in alignment with best practice and regulatory standards
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and enhance the overall patient experience
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Physiotherapy
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
- 1+ years of clinical experience (orthopedic and musculoskeletal focus preferred)
- Familiarity with publicly funded programs (hospital-based, community physiotherapy clinic)
- Experience with MVA, WSIB, extended health benefits, and SABS documentation (OCF 18/23, progress, discharge reports) is an asset
- Strong initiative, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- BCLS/CPR certification required
