Ready to be part of the action? The ETF Treasury Administrator is responsible for the preparation, timely processing and confirmation of securities issued from Treasury Directions for ETF as well as other administrative duties within Operations.

This role is hybrid (2 - 3 days/week in the office) - based in Toronto, ON. Key Accountabilities The ETF Treasury Administrator is required to perform a range of duties including, but not limited to:

  • Coordinate issuance and cancellation of securities from ETF Treasury by reviewing directions and supporting documentation to ensure acceptability in accordance with our corporate policies.
  • Review and validate instructions, date of issuance, number of shares for issuance or cancellation,
  • Batch, confirm and complete directions on Internal Systems and CDSX system.
  • Liaise with Relationship Managers and Brokers to communicate and resolve any deficiencies on Treasury Directions or escalating queries to appropriate team members
  • Monitoring of the RPA processing and ensure processing has been properly completed
  • Perform reconciliation and confirmations on external system

Must Have(s)

  • Minimum 1 year experience in financial, corporate/commercial or securities industry
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong proficiency with Excel, MS Word, Outlook and other desktop applications
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, ensuring precision in all tasks and deliverables.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of identifying issues, synthesizing data, and developing effective solutions.
  • Solid functional understanding of the securities industry, specifically concerning back-office administrative processes and operations.
  • Demonstrated agility and adaptability in responding to evolving business environments, priorities, and changes in job responsibilities.
  • Superior organizational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks and manage time to consistently meet strict, critical deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for professional and effective interaction with internal teams and external stakeholders/counterparts.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work a schedule that includes necessary overtime to meet business demands and deadlines.
  • Capacity to perform effectively both autonomously and as a collaborative member of a team, contributing positively to shared goals.
  • Proficiency in leveraging diverse tools and technologies to strategically identify and implement process improvements that enhance organizational efficiency.

Nice Have

  • Completion of Canadian Securities Course and similar courses are preferred, but not essential
