Role Description Our office in Hamilton is searching for a Civil Engineering student to join its growing team for the Spring 2026 work term. You will be a key member of a focused and dedicated team. The group provides preliminary design services, detailed design services, preparation of tender documents, assistance with procurement and tender evaluation, contract administration, engineering services during construction and post construction services for civil work. The projects are for both private and public clients in various jurisdictions.

Role Accountabilities
- Provide design and AutoCAD civil 3D support for specific land engineering projects
- Preparing technical reports and performing design calculations.
- Conducting CAD drafting and design
- Potential site visits for data collection and observation
Qualifications & Experience
- General Civil Design exposure such as: site grading, site servicing, CAD design would be an asset
- Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering or related program
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task, prioritize, and take direction
- Experience in technical software including AutoCAD, Civil3D is necessary

The salary range for this position is $20-28/hour. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
