Position: Professional Development Digital Applications Coordinator
Reports To: Professional Development Senior Administrator
Contract Type: Fixed Term, Full Time (until June 30, 2027)

Job Summary
The Professional Development Digital Applications Coordinator supports CPABC’s Professional Development program by managing course setup and maintenance in the Learning Management System (LMS) and related technology tools, responding to technical support inquiries, tracking program completions, and assisting with quality control of course materials and recordings. This role also provides occasional administrative support for live virtual seminars, hosts webinars, and plays a key part in quality assurance by compiling seminar evaluation summaries and supporting analysis and reporting through Power BI dashboards.
Key Responsibilities:
Course Set up Coordination and Customer Care

Assists the Operations Administrators with course set-up in course database (iMIS);

Assists the LMS Administrator with course set-up in the learning management system as well as routine or daily maintenance tasks;

Monitors and responds to customer technical inquiries and troubleshooting problems with the LMS and other PD Department digital applications;

Troubleshoots issues and coordinates escalation or collaboration with other members of the PD team or other departments such as IT if necessary;

Tracks completion of certificate programs and is responsible for sending out program completion certificates as required;

Works collaboratively with PD team members to support and process course registrations and payments as needed; as well as addressing email or phone inquiries.
Coordination of PD Department’s Software and Digital Applications
- Maintains records of PD’s learning and digital tools for coordination purposes;
- Liaises and collaborates with CPABC IT Department regarding PD Department’s software and other digital applications including implementation and ongoing maintenance, and troubleshoots issues related to these applications;
- Liaises and collaborates with Data Analytics & IT teams on issues related to the collection of seminar evaluation data and reporting using Power BI dashboards;
- Assists in training other department team members on these applications as needed.
Program Delivery and Quality Assurance
Seminar Monitoring and Hosting
- Hosts live webinars delivered through Zoom, including set up of Zoom meetings requirements, and providing Zoom training for instructors as needed;
- Monitors live webinars by making housekeeping announcements, introducing instructors, tracking attendance, launching polls, and assisting instructors and attendees as needed.
Seminar Evaluations
- Collaborates with Data Analytics and IT teams on issues and improvements related to the collection of seminar evaluation data and reporting using Power BI dashboards;
- Compiles annual and other seminar evaluation report summaries, as required.
Seminar Material Editing and Video Editing
- Assists in reviewing, proofreading, and formatting seminars materials to ensure prescribed quality standards are met;
- Assists in the editing recordings of live webinars using Camtasia to produce on-demand seminars.
And other duties and responsibilities, as assigned from time to time.

Key Requirements:
Knowledge and Experience
- Post-Secondary qualification in a related discipline, or equivalent experience;
- One (1) year of experience in supporting LMS and other technology applications, or equivalent experience; experience with Association Management Systems (AMS) or databases is an asset.
Demonstrated Skills and Abilities
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, both verbally and written;
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Office, in particular MS Word, PowerPoint and Adobe PDF; Power BI experience an asset
- Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with minimum supervision;
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational, time management and proven ability to handle overlapping projects and tasks;
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to deal with sensitive and complex information;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with course set up and troubleshooting on LMS
- Experience with Camtasia or other video editing software is an asset;
The starting annual salary for this position is between $51,850 and $61,560 per annum, based on candidates’ qualifications, experience, and internal parity. Exceptions may be considered with further review.
