Quality Control Technician

The Quality Control Technician reports to Director of Quality Assurance.

Responsibilities/Duties:

(Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods.
• Coordinate with production teams and project managers to uphold quality standards.
• Seek independent guidance to ensure objective quality assessments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records.
• Perform inspections on all DEW products as required.
• Identify and document product or process issues and verify corrective actions.
• Control non-conforming products until resolved.
• Calibrate and inspect monitoring and measuring devices regularly.
• Recommend improvements to company processes.
• Support internal and external audits.

General Duties:

• Perform work safely and efficiently, minimizing waste.
• Use and maintain tools and equipment properly.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Repair and/or report damaged tools or machinery promptly.
• Comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Quality Technician preferred.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Experience in high complexity production environments.

Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, organizational, and mathematical skills.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments.
