Quality Control Technician
The Quality Control Technician reports to Director of Quality Assurance.
Responsibilities/Duties:
(Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods.
- Coordinate with production teams and project managers to uphold quality standards.
- Seek independent guidance to ensure objective quality assessments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records.
- Perform inspections on all DEW products as required.
- Identify and document product or process issues and verify corrective actions.
- Control non-conforming products until resolved.
- Calibrate and inspect monitoring and measuring devices regularly.
- Recommend improvements to company processes.
- Support internal and external audits.
General Duties:
- Perform work safely and efficiently, minimizing waste.
- Use and maintain tools and equipment properly.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Repair and/or report damaged tools or machinery promptly.
- Comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Quality Technician preferred.
- Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Experience in high complexity production environments.
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication, organizational, and mathematical skills.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments.
