Position Summary:
The HR Analyst, Workday, serves as a critical liaison between Human Resources, business key players, and the technical team within the context of the Workday implementation project. This role combines the responsibilities of an HR Business Analyst (BA) with a strong focus on leveraging Workday to optimize HR processes and deliver solutions that support organizational objectives. The HR Analyst, Workday, will proactively analyze, document, and improve HR operations, ensuring seamless integration between business needs and technical solutions. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem-solver with robust analytical skills and significant experience in Workday system administration and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Map and assess current HR processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending Workday-based solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and Digital teams gather, document, and analyze business requirements for the Workday implementation project.
- Configure, test, and implement Workday system enhancements and new modules to support evolving HR and Workday project needs.
- Translate business requirements into clear and actionable functional specifications.
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and change management activities related to Workday and HR process changes, supporting successful adoption across the organization.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including process flows, requirements, test scripts, and user guides, to ensure clarity and continuity throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with key players to ensure that Workday solutions meet business requirements and drive continuous improvement in HR service delivery.
- Monitor system performance and user feedback to identify opportunities for further optimization and support ongoing HR initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in HR applications, with hands-on experience in Workday.
- Proven ability to analyze business processes and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong understanding of HR operations, including talent management, employee data management, and benefits administration.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with project management, testing, and documentation within a system implementation context.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Analytical Thinking: Ability to break down complex problems and identify root causes.
- Collaboration: Works well in cross-functional teams and maintains strong stakeholder relationships.
- Technical Acumen: Demonstrates proficiency with HRIS platforms, especially Workday.
