Job Duties

Lab instructors will assist with lab preparation, clean up and all associated duties in the lab, under the guidance of the lead instructor for Basic Electrocardiography (ECRD 101).

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE

Description

Required Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma inHealth Sciences Profession (CLXT, MRT, RN, etc.) with active registration and current licensure with the applicable national and/or provincial regulatory body.

  • One year of recent and relevant experience as a health care professional performing ECGs in a clinical setting.

  • Ability to effectively engage students in learning complex topics through lectures, labs, one-on-one support, and constructive feedback.

  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.

  • Effective interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

  • Commitment to excellence in teaching, collaboration, and inclusive education.

  • Ability to function as a team member in an ever-changing environment.

  • Demonstrated competence and recent experience in MS Office Suite, educational software, and the ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.

  • Demonstrates valuing diversity.
