About the role
ROLE OVERVEW
Reporting to the Manager, Segment Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator supports a wide range of marketing efforts to achieve the credit union’s business objectives. The role provides marketing and promotional support services, event assistance, implementation of marketing campaigns, coordination of advertisement in key segments, and other assigned tasks relating to segment marketing. This role supports ACU’s commitment to rural and agricultural communities, francophone services, values-based banking, respectful workplace and diversity, equity and inclusion.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Contribute to business growth by supporting various marketing campaigns and initiatives

Research vendors and items (promotional, marketing and stationery) and make recommendations, purchase, receive, perform quality control, and store or distribute.

Develop strong alliances with partner organizations and vendors that contribute to the growth and development of the credit union and the community.
-
Maintain relationships with outside suppliers, including venues, promotional companies and printers to ensure service and product excellence.
-
Work closely with the marketing team to determine promotional, marketing and stationery item specification and branding requirements.
-
Support special events and campaigns including some content production and coordination.
-
Coordinate advertising in key segments.
-
Review incoming requests and respond in a timely manner.
-
Order, maintain and distribute all stationery, forms, letterhead, brochures and promotional material etc. for distribution as required by ACU employees and Outlook Financial.

Work with branches and departments to understand segment needs, events, promotional item needs and budget.
-
Support with event/meeting planning and execution (i.e., Member Appreciation events, Credit Union Day, tradeshows, workshops, seminars, etc.) and ensure ACU representative needs are met while maximizing corporate visibility and branding.

Receive and or prepare print orders, verify contents, evaluate print quality, and store or distribute.

Maintain inventory of marketing, stationery, and promotional materials, track budget expenditures, and arrange restocking based on requirements within budget.

Fulfill requests for corporate giveaways.
-
Prepare reports as required.

Perform semi-annual branch visits and audits.
-
Manage monthly mail letters (data cleanup, mail merge, print or send to the vendor for printing) and support project teams and other areas of the organization with letter mail requests.

Support with segment marketing inquiries and tasks as assigned.

Assist with media buying and sourcing and managing production companies for some segment marketing campaigns.

Assist branch and administrative staff with marketing and communication requests, visiting branches and meeting with staff as required.

Maintain commitment to ACU’s sustainable procurement policies.

Ensure all initiatives are consistent with legislative requirements, ACU’s Privacy Policies and compliance regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and experience
The competencies for the position would typically be acquired through completion of a post-secondary education plus one or two years of work experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and education.Post-secondary education in marketing or creative communications is an asset. A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is considered an asset.

This position is anticipated to be a hybrid role, with several in-office days each week and some travel potentially required to locations across Manitoba to support organizational needs.
