Job Description ROLE: National Account Manager Food Service
REPORTS TO: Sales Director East & Food Service
LOCATION: Vancouver/Toronto
We are looking for a National Account Manager Food Service to join our Sales team! The National Account Manager will play a crucial role in the growth and profitability of Earth’s Own. For the assigned customers, this individual will lead the development and execution of Earth’s Own annual sales plan, is accountable to achieve sales plan and trade spend targets, and build strong customer relationships.
Opportunities This is a very exciting time for the Sales Team as we continue to grow and expand! You will have the opportunity to represent an incredible brand that is driving huge growth in the marketplace, with direct accountability for our Food Service Channel. This includes building strong customer relationships and influencing customer strategies and tactics in an evolving and exciting category! Your top priority will be to deliver your annual sales plan. This includes ensuring distribution/presence across our distributors, commercial and non-commercial customer base. You will have the autonomy to build strategies which deliver against your sales and trade spend objectives. An analytical approach and bias for action will be critical to achieving your objectives and leaving your imprint on the business!

- You have a solid Food Service business development and sales background
- You consistently drive growth and achieve your sales plan targets
- You have an analytical nature, and strong familiarity with data and strategic data capabilities
- You have exceptional communication, relationship building, and negotiation skills
- Y ou have highly proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office, AC Nielsen/Direct Link
Experience
- You have at least 5 years of experience in a CPG sales role, with focus in the Food Service Industry
- You have 3+ years in a key account role in the food/beverage category
- You have experience working directly with broker partners
- You have experience in Natural/Organic categories
- You have a relevant Undergraduate Degree in Marketing or Business
things you will do…
- Develops and implements a sales strategy for growing business with national/regional chains and major distributors. Works with customers to understand their strategies and integrates them with the Company strategy
- Identify new business opportunities, build effective plans and execute
- Own business relationships with distributors, and chain operators
- Develops sales reporting tools for both internal and external use: AC Nielsen/Direct Link, internal sales figures and customer data
- Prepares expense reports and submits on time. Monitors expenses against budget
