We're looking for a passionate Senior Software Developer to join our Enterprise Data Integration team. In this role, you'll design, develop, and support cutting-edge technical solutions. You'll work hands-on with the latest AWS technologies, unlocking the full potential of big data to solve complex, real-world challenges.

What You'll Do:
- Implement data normalization and ingestion solutions in AWS using Spark, Postgres, Java, Scala and Unix Utilities
- Define a strategy for data flows to meet the requirements of the Verafin application
- Partner with cross-functional data teams to design, implement, and uphold technical best practices in data engineering, architecture, and governance—ensuring scalable, secure, and high-quality data solutions.
What We're Looking For:
- A university degree or college diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years development experience is required for this role
- Strong analytical skills for complex and creative problem solving
- Experience in object-oriented software development (Java)
- Experience with Database technologies (PostgresSQL)
- An understanding of AI methodologies applicable to this area would be beneficial.
- Automated testing
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; able to work closely with team members
- You have a 'Customer first' attitude - always putting the customer's needs first
What Success Looks Like:
- Understanding the goals of the team while using problem solving skills
- Developing cloud-based services that have good uptime, health, and security
- Producing clean and efficient code
- Consistently iterating on coding practices for continuous improvement
