YOUR IMPACT OpenText’s global Source to Pay (S2P) team helps maximize value from OpenText’s vendor relationships and ensures our internal stakeholders have the goods and services they need to succeed. This position manages procurement transactions, enforces policies and internal controls, provides support for end-users, and helps to manage vendor relationships. The Procurement Operations team works closely with internal stakeholders, Sourcing, Procurement Contract Management, and Accounts Payable as well as other finance functions and IT to ensure a seamless S2P process.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

  • Facilitate the end-to-end Purchase Requisition (PR) to Purchase Order (PO) process, ensuring accuracy in data validation, completeness of supporting documentation, and adherence to preferred vendor usage.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including cross-functional teams, to understand requirements and provide support in sourcing initiatives. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure business needs are met.
  • Support the implementation of procurement strategies and category plans, contributing to cost optimization and supplier performance improvements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing vendors, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with business needs and procurement goals.
  • Providing support to business stakeholders regarding the S2P process, policy, system (SAP/ Ariba), and transactions, ensuring excellent customer service
  • Mitigating business risks by enforcing internal controls and supporting audits related to the S2P process as appropriate
  • Facilitating a seamless S2P process for all stakeholders by collaborating with other teams such as Sourcing, Procurement Contract Management, Vendor Management, Accounts Payable, Tax, Accounting, FP, DGO, and IT
  • Improving process efficiency and effectiveness by driving process improvements within the function aligned with department and organizational objectives
  • Participating in system change-related activities such as requirements gathering, solution validation, acceptance testing, and user support

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Post Secondary certification/bachelor's degree in business or related courses such as Finance and Accounting, Procurement or Supply Chain
  • 1-2 years previous experience in Procurement in a global company an asset
  • Strong writing, communications, interpersonal, and customer service skills (ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience)
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly motivated, participative team player with the ability to perform in a results-oriented, and time-sensitive environment
  • Strong analytical capabilities required to provide efficient and effective solutions (ie. ability to work with large and diverse sets of data)
  • Ability to take initiative in recognizing data issues/concerns or areas where improvements could be made
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing environments
  • Self-management including attention to detail, organizational/time management, strong inclination to self-development
  • Advanced digital literacy using various software application packages such as SAP including Ariba is an advantage.
