Air Inuit has been providing essential scheduled, chartered, cargo and emergency air transport services to Nunavik and beyond- 24 hours a day, 365 days a year - for over 45 years. POSITION OVERVIEW
Performing all the regular duties of a CRS Service Agent and a Fares and E-Commerce Agent, the Systems and Fares Specialist also provides backup to the CRS Supervisor as needed. They also contribute to the training of new team members. The Systems and Fares Specialist also ensures proper fare distribution, maintains an efficient e-commerce environment, and performs recurring statistical analyses, while understanding the interaction between the two sectors to ensure optimal process flow and efficiency.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Replacement of the CRS Supervisor during vacations or absences;
- Inform users of ad hoc updates and develop a contingency plan when necessary;
- Train new CRS and Fares and E-Commerce agents;
- Maintain passenger fares;
- Work with the Passenger Services and Reservations teams in real time to establish best technical practices related to the PSS and fares;
- Provide operational technical support to stations and various departments;
- Coordinate the operation of the Air Inuit reservation system with the various related areas (schedules, ticketing, GDS, station connectivity, interline, fares, e-commerce, and online check-in);
- Coordinate projects for the implementation of new products;
- Develop and update training manuals;
- Submit schedules to the various agencies (OAG, Innovata, Nomadis) and fares (ATPCo) according to deadlines;
- Coordinate communications with various service providers;
- Produce statistics for various government entities and management;
- All other duties related to the position.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bilingual (French/English); ability to speak Inuktitut would be an asset;
- In-depth knowledge of the HitIt system (reservations, ticketing, DCS, irregular operations);
- Knowledge of ATPCo;
- Experience in personnel management would be an asset;
- Experience as a trainer would be an asset;
- Knowledge of OAG and the various GDSs (Sabre, Galileo, Travelport, and Amadeus);
- Knowledge of Air Inuit's operational and reservation policies would be an asset;
- Knowledge of ticketing standards;
- Good knowledge of Word, Excel, and Office;
- Good communication skills;
- Team player;
- Ability to travel if necessary.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Monday to Friday schedule, 37.5 hours per week;
- Daily schedule to be discussed.

Air Inuit Ltd provides a company contributed RRSP, a Group Insurance (life, dental, health care, short and long term disability), 6% vacation and various other innovative benefits and recognition opportunities.
Compensation and benefits are determined according to corporate policy.
