Reporting to the Executive Vice President – Business Development, the Regional Manager, Business Development & Key Accounts is responsible for overseeing business development (BD) activities within their Region.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will oversee Business Development & Relationship Managers, as well as Client Managers, within the region. Reporting to the Executive VP of Business Development, they will form part of a national team that will work collaboratively with the Key Account Management (KAM), Marketing and Proposal teams with a collective goal of identifying / originating opportunities within Pinchin’s core and emerging services, contributing to improve win rates on regional proposals, and understanding marketing needs and opportunities within the region.

How You’ll Make an Impact at Pinchin

  • Develop and execute annual Regional Business Plans with measurable KPIs.
  • Lead and oversee regional business development initiatives, collaborating closely with the Key Account Management (KAM) team, Client Managers, and Marketing.
  • Identify training needs and ensure a solid understanding of all Pinchin services, including emerging offerings.
  • Manage and grow key client accounts, driving strategies to increase opportunities and net revenue.
  • Conduct gap and competitor analyses to inform business growth strategies and expand market share.
  • Support emerging service lines, partnering with service leaders to pursue new business opportunities.
  • Represent Pinchin at industry events, tradeshows, and networking forums to enhance brand awareness and build client relationships.
  • Maintain regular communication with regional and national leadership to align business development strategies.
  • Foster a collaborative environment and lead by example, reflecting Pinchin’s Core Values and desired organizational culture.

What You’ll Bring to Pinchin

The right candidate brings a mix of technical ability, curiosity, accountability, and a genuine interest in creating better outcomes for clients, communities, and the environment. You value collaboration, learning, and respectful teamwork.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management in a technical or professional services environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Pinchin’s core and emerging services.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Regional operations and revenue growth strategies.
  • Excellent relationship-building, networking and presentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends, client needs and competitor strategies.
  • Skilled in facilitating collaboration across multiple service lines and leadership levels.
  • Willingness to travel regionally for client meetings, tradeshows, and networking events.
