Description
Provide leadership to the Service and Aftersales organization to achieve the objective of growing sales and profit in Canada to an unprecedented level.
Responsibilities
- Lead our Parts and Service organization to create and maintain strategies and processes which align to the organizational business objectives and ensure optimal results for Kia Canada and our Dealers across Canada.
- Create and direct integrated Aftersales Parts and Service strategy, implementation plan, and deliver against this plan to the benefit of KCA.
- Develop and implement best practices related to areas of After Sales, Parts, Service, Warranty, and Parts Marketing to ensure efficiency in projects, programs, and day-to-day accountabilities.
- Provide tools, resources, and directions to departments and thereby, the dealer network, as it pertains to Parts Sales, to achieve their respective goals.
- Partner with National Managers to develop, implement, and regularly update Parts & Aftersales programs, policies, sales forecasts, and departmental objectives in alignment with Kia Canada’s corporate goals.
- Maintain regular communication with the COO and President regarding departmental performance, strategic initiatives, business risks, and other critical matters.
- Monitor and remain informed of regulatory developments impacting Kia Canada and the automotive industry. Represent Kia Canada with industry associations, government agencies, and external organizations as required.
- Develop and manage annual operating budgets, departmental goals, and key performance objectives while monitoring and evaluating departmental performance against established targets
- Foster and strengthen strategic relationships with vendors, regulatory bodies, business partners, and other Kia global divisions to drive collaboration and achieve optimal business outcomes.
Skills / Knowledge / Experience / Education Required
- Minimum 10 years of experience in automotive industry, preferably in an OEM environment, including up to 3 years or more at an automobile dealer is an asset.
- Experience with lean, six sigma or equivalent work improvement techniques is an asset
- University degree in Business or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience; graduate-level education is preferred.
- Proven successful experience in managing service/quality and parts within a global context. Regional knowledge of supplier capabilities is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to influence, build consensus, and foster collaborative relationships across cross-functional teams and stakeholders beyond direct reporting lines.
- Proven ability to lead effectively within diverse, multicultural, and global business environments while serving as a role model for collaboration and professionalism.
- Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and relationship management skills, supported by a high degree of integrity and professionalism.
- Strong financial acumen, analytical capability, and strategic problem-solving skills.
- Executive-level communication, presentation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Salary Range: $148,000 - $203,501
