Our Organization Prime Health Ltd. is a fastest growing NNHP (Natural and Non-prescription Health Product) manufacturing company based in Maple Ridge, BC having presence in North America, Asia, Middle East, and South American countries. We are passionate in delivering result and customer satisfaction. To boost our growth, we are looking for Purchasing Assistant & Inventory Controller who can contribute to the following activities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Main Responsibilities:
Work Order workflow:
- Keeping the inventory according to the requested policy to support the organization's goals.
- Getting new work orders (Blister Packaging) from QC and processing items / ingredients inventory to ensure the production workflow.
- Follow up WO on hold for missing components, client’s labels or cartons.
- Open new part numbers in SAP according to the item's specification.
- Close WO after report completion.
Ordering and Replenishment:
- Place purchase orders based on inventory needs.
Inventory Accuracy:
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts to reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Investigate and rectify discrepancies, taking corrective actions as needed.
- Update SAP with the accuracy quantities and discard old materials.
Demand Forecasting:
- Review the sale orders to Gummies, Softgels and Probiotics to order it in advance.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Review stock rotation to minimize waste and raw material expiration.
- Monitor and manage stock with expiration dates to prevent stockouts and overstocks.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports, offering insights into stock levels, turnover, and expired days.
- Provide regular updates to management and internal stakeholders on inventory status.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including purchase, warehouse, production, QC and sales, to align inventory need and stock.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure timely information sharing.
- Supporting production and warehouse when they face issues with missing items or insufficient items in stock.
Health and Safety Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all workplace health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Identify and promptly report any safety hazards, near misses, or incidents to the appropriate supervisor or safety representative.
Other Responsibilities as assigned:
- Adhere strictly to all GMP procedures to ensure safe and compliant production.
- Work according to the Quality Management System (QMS), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), company policies and practices to ensure quality and compliance.
- Keep work areas clean and practice proper personal hygiene to prevent contamination.
- Immediately report any product issues, equipment malfunctions, or deviations from procedures.
- Need to react to change productively and to undertake other tasks as assigned.
Success Factors:
- Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and maintain consistent attendance. Notify your supervisor in advance of any absences or delays.
- Take ownership of your tasks and responsibilities. Follow through on assignments and communicate openly about progress or issues.
- Collaborate respectfully with others, share knowledge, and contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least high school diploma with excellent in Math.
- Minimum 2-3 years inventory control experience in Manufacturing environment.
- Proficient computer skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
- SAP knowledge is desirable.
- Good knowledge of work procedures and standard operating procedures of the warehouse
- Accuracy with documentation and transactions
- Customer service focused. Strong interpersonal skills
