About the role

Adecco is seeking a skilled Project Manager - Disaster Restoration who thrives in fast-paced environments, brings strong leadership to the table, and ensures restoration projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest industry standards.

In this role, you will take ownership of multiple restoration projects from start to finish, acting as the central point of coordination between field teams, subcontractors, insurance partners, and clients. This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on leader who excels under pressure, communicates clearly, and takes pride in delivering quality outcomes during critical situations.

  • Schedule: Variable, based on project needs

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage restoration projects from initiation through closeout
  • Coordinate and supervise field technicians, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Serve as the primary liaison with insurance companies, adjusters, and property owners
  • Prepare estimates, work orders, budgets, and project schedules
  • Monitor progress and ensure compliance with IICRC standards and safety regulations
  • Conduct site inspections, documentation, and detailed reporting
  • Resolve client concerns with professionalism, empathy, and urgency
  • Train, mentor, and support field technicians in best practices

Qualifications & Experience

  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in disaster restoration, construction, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of IICRC standards, building codes, and insurance restoration processes
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments
  • Proficiency with project management and estimating software (Xactimate, Encircle, or similar)
  • Valid Alberta driver's license with a clean driving record
  • IICRC certifications (Water Damage, Fire & Smoke, Applied Microbial Remediation) and/or a Construction Management background are considered strong assets
