This position is onsite Monday-Friday during business hours

Wayfair is looking for a Site Lead on our Community Experience team for our Toronto, Canada, Technology Development Center!

The Wayfair Community Experience (CE) team builds, designs, and operates environments that attract top talent, foster collaboration, nurture employee success, and promote retention. As a CE Site Lead you will be responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, welcoming, and efficient environment for our employees while promoting Wayfair culture. You will also work directly with a variety of vendors and employees while presenting yourself in a professional and helpful manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee projects that drive improvements to the employee’s workplace experience. Proactively identify business needs, gain alignment on objectives, scope, timing, and resources. Solicit feedback from business leaders, stakeholders and team to drive continuous improvements.
  • Manage third-party vendors associated with building operations and building preventative and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Through approved channels: order, receive, organize, and stock supplies for the office.
  • Cultivate a team culture of respect, empathy and inclusion. Presume good intent while prioritizing impact. Balance candor with humility and kindness.
  • Relentless Customer Focus: Manage work order systems, monitor SLAs, feedback, and data to assess the effectiveness of employee experience programs. Work closely with your manager to ensure resources are optimally sourced and deployed. Continuously revise processes and SLAs to better support operational efficiency and employee experience.
  • Innovate and Improve: Question the status quo, suggest ways to improve and innovate processes, systems and workplace environments to optimize team and greater employee population’s workplace experience.
  • Report regular operational updates professionally to management teams and stakeholders. Partner with business leaders throughout the organization to provide customized workplace solutions when needed.
  • Organize and conduct safety inspections and drills (evacuation, shelter in place, etc) in collaboration with Wayfair’s Global Safety and Security team.
  • Support special projects that relate to events and building updates.
  • Be accessible off-hours and prepared to respond professionally in a building or other emergency.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years in a customer service oriented operational role.
  • Professional presence and excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and non-verbal).
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to calmly juggle competing priorities.
  • Ability to motivate and lead self and others to deliver results.
  • Financial and analytical acumen, able to make reasoned, calculated decisions based on data, critical thinking and pattern recognition.
